Skill Set Name: Persuasion
Elemental Property: Dark
Stat Specialization: Offensive
Skill Set Information: Manipulating the dark thoughts and impulses in the brain, Juliet can force her will on upon opponents. This usually involves her speaking to the opponent, trying to change their mind while subtly manipulating their brain patterns in order to convince them it is a good idea.
Passives:

  • Charm: Due to the dark magic surrounding her, Juliet is naturally persuasive. Assuming a person is on good terms with Juliet, she can convince them to do something that they would reasonably do in their proper mind. For example, Juliet could convince a guard to let her through a locked gate, even if they was initially opposed.
  • Drain: While a temporary Persuasion spell is active, Juliet slowly regenerates vitality while stealing it from the enemy. She drains 2% per post, rounded down, while the spell is active.
  • Avenge: If an ally is attacked by an opponent under a temporary Persuasion spell within 5m of Juliet, 10% of the damage is dealt is rebounded onto the attacker.

Skill Set Strengths:

  • This skillset allows Juliet to harness the dark forces in a person's mind, forcing them to obey her command without question.
  • This skillset is well-equipped to stealth, as she can whisper in the darkness without consequence.

Skill Set Weakness:

  • This skillset requires speech in order to be used. In the event she is silenced or cannot speak, she is unable to use these abilities.
  • Any light magic or healing technique can instantly dispel a persuasion.

Technique Name: Geas
Technique Rank: F
Technique Focus: Defensive
Technique's Duration: 3 posts
Technique Description: With a whisper, Juliet forces an person to her side. Once this technique is activated, the person in question immediately considers Juliet (and only Juliet) an ally. In payment, neither may draw each other's blood during the duration of the geas. If the opponent attacks Juliet, the strike is returned against them, dealing the total damage to both Juliet and her attacker. If Juliet strikes the opponent, the geas is instantly broken. If a Chosen's total attack is greater than half of Juliet's speed, the rebound effect does not take place.

Technique Name: Suggestion
Technique Rank: F
Technique Focus: Speed
Technique's Duration: 1 post
Technique Description: With a shout of power, Juliet forces her way into one person's mind with 5 meters of her. This allows her to hijack their decision-making process for a brief moment, allowing her to force them to do a single command on their next post. In the event they are unable to complete the command in a single post to the best of their ability, the command drops. The command must not be anything that directly harm party in question (i.e. "STAB YOURSELF IN THE NECK"), but may be used to indirectly harm the opponent or their allies (i.e. "ATTACK YOUR FRIENDS"). The target is aware they are being controlled, but cannot disobey. A Chosen may resist this effect if their total defense is equal or greater than half of Juliet's total attack, enabling them to resist the effect through mental fortitude.

Technique Name: Skulljack
Technique Rank: F
Technique Focus: Offensive
Technique's Duration: Instantaneous
Technique Description: Summoning the power within her veins, Juliet grabs hold of a nearby opponent. With it, she can manipulate that person's beliefs to whatever she wishes, permanently. This can include forcing them to believe that there is a man drowning in front of them, or that their friends have just betrayed them. This ability is unable to permanently shift the alignment of another person, and is the only Persuasion spell that cannot change the person's perception of Juliet. If a light spell is used, the Skulljack is dispelled. If a person can prove that the belief is flawed, then the Skulljack is dispelled (i.e. prove that there is no man drowning by standing in the same place as the man). If a chosen's total speed is equal to half or more of Juliet's total attack, they are able to pull away before the effect takes hold, rendering this ability useless.

If the opponent attacks Juliet, the strike is returned against them, dealing double the total damage. If Juliet strikes the opponent, the geas is instantly broken. - Can this be resisted? If so, what stats would be required? A Defense higher than a portion of the user's attack, or otherwise? NPCs perhaps can be instantly persuaded with this technique however PCs need to have some form of being able to resist, otherwise I cannot allow this as an F Rank technique - as these are meant to be relatively weak.

Technique Name: Suggestion
Technique Rank: F
Technique Focus: Attack
Technique's Duration: 1 post
Technique Description: With a shout of power, Juliet forces her way into one person's mind with 5 meters of her. This allows her to hijack their decision-making process for a brief moment, allowing her to force them to do a single command on their next post. The command must not be anything that directly harm party in question (i.e. "STAB YOURSELF IN THE NECK"), but may be used to indirectly harm the opponent or their allies (i.e. "ATTACK YOUR FRIENDS"). - As with the previous technique, please list whether or not this can be resisted and on the exacts of how it applies to NPCs and PCs respectively, if you have any confusion on what is acceptable in this case - Please message me directly and I will do my best to guide you through the process.

- As with the previous, list the specifics of how this spell can be resisted before taking effect if at all and whether or not it has a different effect upon Players and NPCs.

Keep in mind that as F Rank techniques, ideally they should be relatively weak yet still provide versatility to user or be considered lesser version of later techniques that the user may want to create.

An example of this in your case would be perhaps something along the lines of a technique this is capable of turning an enemy within one rank of the technique (F and D Ranks) who do not have a defense equal to half of the user's attack into an ally for a period of two posts.

Feel free to be as creative as possible with your techniques, just please keep in mind the differences between an F Rank technique and a higher one, these should be considered starting points or small abilities that show the promise of your future power - If you have any concerns or questions, as I mentioned previously, feel free to send me a message and I will answer as promptly as possible.

Bumping due to edits~

List:
-Passive has been reduced to 10%, as previously suggested.
-All three abilities have been given stat-restrictions. These make it difficult for Juliet to pull off a technique, but given the potential potency of the techniques, these are fine. They do give the techniques restrictions similar to an F-rank, and allow the abilities to be slowly improved as they increase in rank.

Let me know if these are the changes you were looking for, if not, I can try again. Thanks!
