Name: Dr Nyx's Armor (V1)
Type: Armor Set
Class: S
Length: -
Weight: 20 pounds approximately.
Description:
Nyx's Armor is a specially designed and intricately crafted set of armor that has a porcelain-white outer plating that covers the torso, forearms and part of the lower body. There is also a set of black plating which covers the feet and up to just past the knees while also leaving plenty of unarmored areas for maximum mobility that are protected by the scale-like outer suit that lies just under the plating and covers the rest of the body outside.

This particular set has a pair of two small indents spaced evenly apart that serve as a space for the armor's future upgrade as well as - for the current version - providing aeration to the inside of the suit and allowing it to 'breathe' so that the wearer is not at an uncomfortable temperature even with the inner mesh and bodysuit that is worn so that the suit does not chafe against the user's skin.

Inside of the suit, there is a simple black bodysuit made of a mesh-like material that is light enough to not make the wearer uncomfortably hot, but thick enough so that it prevents aforementioned chafing of the armor and can be worn separately with the appearance of a one-piece swimsuit that covers the entire body due to the sort of spandex-like material it is made with, extending to the wrists and ankles on the extremities and covering the neck as well.


Strengths:
High-Quality Polymer:
The armor plates themselves, as well as the outer body-suit of the armor, are crafted with a combination of metallic substances and polymers that give it a light-weight yet durable structure. The benefit of this is an armor that sacrifices no range of movement, yet still gives enough protection to be considered a viable armor for combat purposes.

The armor itself has a defense rating of one-hundred due to it's design and can withstand this amount of damage per attack before the user themselves suffer the remainder, requiring repairs after taking a total of five-hundred points of damage in a single battle and being completely destroyed after a total of one-thousand in a single battle. Repairing this armor requires the user to leave the current thread that they are in and enter a new thread in order to do so.

Doctor's Touch:
Another feature of this prototype of Nyx's armor are a pair of magic crystals placed within the palms of the armor's gloves that are made to boost healing techniques, giving a plus twenty-point bonus to healing abilities used while wearing the armor.

Weaknesses:
Prototype:
Due to the fact that this armor is a prototype of a future design that Nyx plans on one day creating, some features and parts of the armor are not one-hundred-percent fully functional and working correctly. For instance, although the intakes on the back of the suit allow for air to 'breathe' into the inner bodysuit as well as the mesh half of the inner armor, this also means that temperature extremes can effect the suit by allowing too hot or too cold air to enter the armor.

As a result of this, the user suffers a minus ten to their speed in any type of extreme weather (extreme hot, extreme cold, or intense storms)

Short-Life Crystals:
The previously mentioned crystals within the suit's gloves, while helpful, can only be used for a short period of time in each thread before they must be allowed time to 'charge' again. This is a result of Nyx herself lacking the ability to properly channel magic into the crystals during combat or while outside of her own home where she has the resources to do so. Because of this, the boost that the crystals provide can only be applied to five abilities or techniques per battle and ten per thread, afterwards they will be too drained to provide any sort of power.

Magic Weakness:
Due to the unpredictable and strange nature of Magic, as well as the fact that this armor was built primarily to protect against physical threats, it has a certain weakness against elemental and magic-type attacks. The armor, when hit by a magic or elemental type attack, suffers a -20 defense against it's own defense stat before the attack damage is calculated against the rest of the armor's defense meaning that an attack would only have to have eighty or more damage if it were magic-based in order to pierce the armor's defenses instead of one-hundred.
